The factory pulley is pressed onto the shaft of the snout with the use of a press and can unfortunately not be simply unbolted. Removal of the pulley will require a special tool in order for it to be pulled off. Our boost upgrade kit features a hub which by the use of the same tool is fitted onto the snout shaft. This job is simple enough with the help of our instructions for the common DIY enthusiast to attempt or can be entrusted to any mechanic who normally charge up to $100 for the service. Once fitted, any pulley regardless of size can be simply bolted onto the hub, making future pulley replacements a 10 minute job.
