Can I run high compression on the LFX and burn E85 fuel

The LFX is designed to run E85 and the ECU has the programming for it. If your gas cap is yellow then it’s a flex-fuel car with the E85 tune activated and ready to fill up with E85. If not, then it’s missing a sensor and the ECU programming needs to be activated and tuned for max power. There is less energy in E85 than an equal amount of gasoline. However, because you can run higher compression ratios, you can achieve higher cylinder pressures and produce high HP. This would probably give you an extra 5-7% gain.
