I had a query regarding my engine temperature, my engine always seems to run hot and thermos is constantly on. I have just purchased the 82 degree thermostat for ecotec, would this help me in keeping the operating temperature of the engine under control?

Assuming that the car is in good working order, then a cooler thermostat will help to keep the average operating temperature of the engine down.
