Just working out if the 25mm manifold insulators for my VE SVE (LY7) is worth the extra money or 12 mm will be fine?

Unless you take your car to redline on a consistent basis, then I would go the 25mm manifold insulators as the car will be more pleasurable to drive in the low to mid-range.
