Assuming your current cooling system is in good working order, a cooler thermostat  will help to keep the average operating temperature of the engine down. This will also result in an average lower engine bay temperature.Another option would be to supply you with a tune, which will enable the thermofans to come on earlier, resulting in a cooler engine temperature.
