We suggest the best bang for the buck option is to fit either higher ratio roller rockers or a performance cam package.  We developed high-ratio performance cam packages to suit customers who had already purchased and fitted high-ratio roller rockers. When it comes to the choice of higher ratio roller rockers compared to a performance cam package, it comes down to budget, desired outcomes, and mechanical knowledge/skill. Higher ratio roller rockers are an easy DIY upgrade with a fitment time of around 2 hours. Where fitting a performance cam is a full-day job of around 8 to 10 hours and requires tools and skills that the general home mechanic is often lacking. Best to fit a double-row timing chain if you end up going down the performance cam route, along with upgraded valve springs and retainers.
