In regards to these relatively new cam packages for the VZ-VE Alloytec engines, what kind of labor/engine work is involved in the installation and a rough idea of what it might cost to have it done?

With the right tools (which we now have to loan out for free), you can replace the cams without taking the front engine cover off which is around 4-5 labor. If the front engine cover has to come off allow for around 8-10 of labor.
