I want to purchase a cam for my ecotec and I was told that I can only go for stage 2 as I have the 1.95 roller rockers. If its true how much is the stage 2 cam and will it sound lumpy and will it still run with the stock engine control unit?

What S2 cam are you referring to? The cams that we normally recommend for higher ratio rockers are shown in the link below:

Either one of those cams in the previously supplied link will sound lumpy, however, would require a tune to suit.
