While they can be fitted in conjunction with gaskets, the insulator acts like a gasket when used in conjunction with sealant. Therefore there is no need use gaskets with the installation of this item
I am looking to purchase "COLD AIR INTAKE MANIFOLD INSULATOR " for my EL Fairmont, do these need to be fitted with gaskets aswell? or does the insulater act as the gasket?
