I have heard Mace use to sell comp cam OE-R lifters for the ecotec and I was wondering if you know what the preload should be. I have it set to 3/4 turn as the instructions say 1/4-3/4 turn. They do seem too noisy though. Have you had any experience with

These lifters, even with the right lifter crush/preload, are very noisy. It's for this reason we only recommend our CROW lifters as they perform similar to the COMP OE-R lifters, but are much quieter. For more information about this product, please check out the link below:
