Are Mace's Cold Air Intake to suit Holden VN-VP V8 better than a VN SS CAI? Where is the opening for the air to come in and is it a panel or pod filter?

They definitely are as the factory intake (including the HSV versions) are quite restrictive in comparison to ours. The air is captured from behind the headlight and in between the radiator. It's a pod filter.
