I am looking at getting one of your 82º thermostats for my ecotec do they make much of a difference in cooling? Related articles I recently purchased the 82 Degree thermostat for my VT Commodore, after installing the new thermostat I noticed that the car started to reach high temps (105 Degrees C) very quickly when stationary, at which point the AC fans kick in and the temp drops t I purchased a 70mm throttle body from Mace around November 2008 for my VP 5.0L Commodore. Since the install back in 2008, I have noticed that the gear changes have all changed and the car will not drop back easily into lower gears when floored.
