I have had a L67 out of a VS statesman put in my VS Wagon. I purchased a memcal off Mace ages ago and went to fit it,soon as I turn the ignition to the first position the thermo fan kicks in. So I am guessing its not reading the sender. Ecotec is programm
Before we're able to draw any conclusions that the memcal is faulty, please confirm that the memcal is installed as per the fitting instructions shown in the link below: http://www.maceengineering...

I have had no success in getting my parcel. I don’t believe signature was required on this one? So I am not sure what Australia post has done with it? I don’t think anyone would have seen it/picked it up as it’s in a very secluded spot downstairs. Auspost
I have been on the phone to Australia Post this morning.

I have heard about OBD-II port and ghost cams on Just Commodores forum feedback page, is it worth to put these on a MY08 Omega?
Given you currently have an MY08 Omega, we currently do not offer a "Ghost Cam". The feature is only currently available on the MY10-MY11 LLT V6s.

I have heard great results about Mace's 10 psi pulley upgrade, am I right in thinking that if someone were to go above that 10 psi that an inter-cooler would be required?
A custom tune or some form of intercooling would be required if you're planning on running a pulley greater than 10psi.

I have heard Mace use to sell comp cam OE-R lifters for the ecotec and I was wondering if you know what the preload should be. I have it set to 3/4 turn as the instructions say 1/4-3/4 turn. They do seem too noisy though. Have you had any experience with
These lifters, even with the right lifter crush/preload, are very noisy. It's for this reason we only recommend our CROW lifters as they perform similar to the COMP OE-R lifters, but are much quiet...

I have heard Mace used to sell comp cam OE-R lifters for the ecotec. Is there a bad side apart from the noise of the OE-R's?
In the short to medium term there wouldn't be any issues with the COMP OE-R lifters. The correct lifter crush/preload for the COMP OE-R lifters is 1/4-3/4 turn.

I have heard stories about the 85MM MASS AIRFLOW METER For Holden VS-VY V6
This item does require a custom dyno tune. To be honest if you were planning on getting a custom tune done solely for the purpose of only supporting this MAF, then I wouldn't worry about it.If you ...

I have heard that people are having trouble when they fit the 69mm throttle on Ecotec. Saying the mixture is too lean and gears change lower and it needs a tune with it. The memcal that comes with the kit, does that stop any of that?
The main reason that people can have issues when installing larger throttle bodies on an ecotecs, is the fact that the throttle response is quicker then what the factory calibration/tune has taken ...

I have just bought a VY storm ute and I am thinking about upgrading the ECU but I am facing an issue at the moment with the car surging under light throttle, I was wondering if you guys have heard anything like this before and can you suggest some modific
We recommend staying with the factory PCM and having it tuned to suit. With regard to he surging issue, I would recommend that you try cleaning the MAF and also check the TPS (throttle position sw...
