I was looking to upgrade my intake manifold on my 2005 VZ SV6 Commodore, but I was wondering is it necessary to upgrade my current exhaust system first? As of this moment my engine is still factory standard.
Given the factory exhaust system on Alloytec powered Commodores are quite efficient from factory, it wouldn't be necessary to upgrade it to accommodate the CPR6 manifold or equivalent higher flowin...

I was on the lookout for a set of high ratio roller rockers for my VX V6 S pac commodore 2001 model. It is a stock motor with extractors and CAI which I purchased from Mace, I would like to know what would be the highest ratio but also being the safest ra
If you wanted to be conservative, then I would recommend running our 1.9:1 ratio rockers as shown in the link below: https://www.maceengineering.com.au/epages/mace.sf/en_AU/?ObjectPath=/Shops/mace/...

I was only looking at a stage 2 Cam for my VT commodore with L67 engine, what sort of package can be chucked together and at what cost? I am pretty much chasing springs retainers, double row timing chain and push rods to suit ect.
We would recommend our Stage 2 COMP cam as shown in the link below. Please note that it would be recommended to use standard ratio rockers in conjunction with this cam. http://www.maceengineering....

I was thinking about using the 25 mm manifold spacer and the 12 mm plenum spacer. What power gains can I expect?
Torque down low would increase by around 15% with the proposed spacer combination.

I was thinking of buying one of the insulators for my non intercooled vehicle, I was just wondering if you have to change anything else for it to fit due to the supercharger sitting higher.I’m also running a 10psi pulley?
You will have to use your standard belt or if you're using an oversized tensioner pulley and standard belt, revert back to your original tensioner.

I was thinking of getting a 25mm manifold insulator and a 12mm plenum spacer but I don’t think they will both fit under my strut brace. Your thoughts?
Generally speaking, you're only able to raise the ecotec plenum by around 25mm if you're running a strut brace. Best to take a couple of measurements to make sure though.

I was thinking of going with Mace ultra high rockers if able to run that with the standard bottom end?
You would be able to run a 1.98:1 Ratio Rocker with the standard bottom end.

I was thinking on a car with over the radiator intake and a full exhaust, how would this tune differ to one on a dyno? And is there a way to improve throttle response in regards to the throttle lag?
With bolt on mods such as the ones you've suggested, there won't be a huge difference in power output between a remote custom tune and a dyno tune. We can certainly improve throttle response, nice ...

I was wanting to upgrade my cams with your new cam package your company just brought out and was just wondering if it would be better to upgrade my valve springs when putting in the new camshafts?
What car do you have? If you have a SIDI or alloytec engine then there is no need to upgrade the valve springs when upgrading the camshaft. These camshaft profiles have been specifically designed t...
