I just put on my new buick/ecotec/l67 1.9 roller rockers and two of them have a little play up and down is that normal?
hey should have a small amount of axial play (side-to-side motion parallel with the trunion/fulcrum shaft), to assist with centralizing itself during operation. When the rockers have been properly ...

I just took the head off my VR commodore and there is a finger deep amount of burnt old oil, what is the best way to remove it?
If you’re referring to removing the carbon from the piston crowns, then you can carefully scrape them off by hand, or you can use a CRC Gasket stripper.

I just wanted to check, do you know what the warranty issues are if a customer installs a product like your cold air intake onto a vehicle under manufacturers warranty. I just didn't want to do anything to invalidate my warranty with Holden.
Technically any aftermarket (non factory) upgrade can void warranty. However from experience, our cold air intake kits for the Cruze have never been an issue. In saying this though, if your vehicl...

I know there is a power improvement with Mace cold air intake manifold Insulator to suit Alloytec VZ-VE but is it noticeable?
Assuming that your car is in good working order, then the answer is a definite yes. For more information about product feedback, please check out the link below: http://www.maceengineering.com.au/...

I like the sound of low down to mid power I think what I am after is more torque than kw related. Does a basic modified l67 (boost/cai) have a 'throw back in your seat' kind of effect?
It does.

I live in Gladstone QLD I was just wondering about these VE SV6 Alloytec Cams, as who in Queensland can install and tune them for me?
We have a number of people in Brisbane who can help out, however, the company with the most amount of experience in this field would be JW Racing http://www.jwracing.com.au/ In the unlikely event ...

I live in the USA. I have some buddy's that ordered spacers for a 09 Pontiac G8 which people say the commodores have in then it's the 3.6 LY7 motor. If you think it will be suitable can you send me a link to one and the price also?
The insulators that would suit your G8 are shown in the links below: 12mm manifold insulator kit https://www.maceengineering.com.au/epages/mace.sf/en_AU/?ObjectPath=/Shops/mace/Products/MI603 25mm ...

I need the speedo recalibrated as I changed the diff gear ratio from 3.08 to 3.46 and I run 235/45/17 tyres.
We cannot recalibrate your speedo with our memcal. You'll need a tech 2 tool to recalibrate your speedometer (VT-Onwards), or you'll need to use a speedometer correction box.

I noticed on Mace site you now have a range of manifold insulators to suit the LLT/LF1/LFW/LFX engine in a VE Commodore , would you recommend a revised tune once installed?thinking about getting the 12mm or 25mm kit
If you want to stay with modifications that are easily reversible, then I would stick with the 12mm manifold insulator kit as the 25mm one requires the rear plastic cowl to be trimmed.

I noticed that your L67 V6 Boost Pulley Upgrade Kit ad states that the pulley removal tool will be loaned for free, is this correct?
Unless otherwise stated in the ad this is correct. However we do require a security bond for the tool, which is returned in full once the tool is returned back in working order.
