Would I need any gaskets for COLD AIR INTAKE MANIFOLD INSULATOR 12MM HOLDEN VS VT VX VU VY ECOTEC V6?
Given the gasket like properties that the insulator material has, no additional gaskets are required. However, silicone sealant is required to be used, which is included in the kit at no extra cost.

Given the number of ks the car has done, it would be a good idea to replace the valve springs and retainers at the same time.Depending on the modifications, it should drive better than an alloytec.

Ideally, you would want to run a 25mm manifold insulator, however, if you're on a budget you would still be happy with a 12mm insulator.

Would it be at all possible to use 2 re-useable metal gaskets when installing a set of 12mm manifold insulators on an alloytec VE commodore? Instead of the gasket maker?
It would be possible however we will still recommend that they are used in conjunction with gasket maker/Silicone sealant.
