I saw Mace's website and as the G8 Pontiac and the VE Commodore are similar I thought maybe you have upgrades that are truly compatible. My engine is what is called an LY7.
We have upgrades which would be 100% compatible with your Pontiac G8 V6. For the record, the Pontiac G8 and the VE Commodore from 2006 to 2009 share the same 3.6L High Output LY7 V6 motor.

I saw you advertising your HOLDEN VE MACE-VCM OTR CAI TO SUIT SIDI 3.6L V6 - COMES WITH BONUS MANIFOLD INSULATORS and was wondering would this work on my none SIDI engine/ series 1 commodore, or would I be better off purchasing your HOLDEN VE COMMODORE OR
Given you have a VE V6 Alloytec (non-SIDI), then the only kit at this point in time which will work with your vehicle is the ORSSOM CAI kit one as shown in the link below: http://www.maceengineeri...

I see a lot about manifold spacers but never seen anyone with one on their car, are they really worth spending the money, what gains can I realistically see from getting them?
We've literally sold thousands of these sets over the years, with the gains as described in the ads.

I see Mace has some new L67 cranks for sale, are these the same as the standard Ecotec? If not what’s the difference? Are they stronger?
The L67 and Ecotec cranks are the same.

I see Mace now offer a camshaft that is compatible with your 1.98 high ratio rockers. For a stage 2 option, what sort of power gains would be expected if other mods were completed such as 69mm throttle body, cold air intake, extractors and 2.5" system, 12
Approximately, you would be looking at a gain of 13rwkw.

I see Mace offers CNC ported L67 Inlet Manifold and CNC Ported L67 M90 Supercharger, I was wondering how long it would take if I got my M90.
It would generally take around 1 to 3 working days to port, depending on our work schedule.

I sold my SS and now have SV6 SIDI, what do I need to have this OTR fitted to this model?
Assuming you currently have a VCM OTR and either an MY10 or MY11 VE SV6, then you will need our piping kit and manifold insulator kit to be able to facilitate this OTR on your vehicle. The part num...

I think I understand what happens once OBD-II port is connected is it: The OBD-II Port that you send out puts a base custom tune onto the car, then once I have collected some logs then I can send it back to you to get a more refined tune to suit my drivin
Very close. How remote tuning works: Fill out a form to establish your requirements Wait for the programmer to arrive Once arrived install software and drivers for the programmer Read your current ...

I think in the long term the COMP OE-R lifters would cause more wear on the valvetrain.I am glad that the noise is normal on mine, I did'nt really want to stip it again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PM4YlA_4oXA
Very annoying, but about right for those COMP OE-R lifters.

I think the L76 motor in VE has DOD but the L76 in the VZ didn't, however I'm changing lifters so I should be ok to run Mace rocker arms and springs.
The L76 engine in the VZ does still have displacement on demand lifters (DOD), however they're not activated. You'll need a DOD delete kit if you want to get rid of this feature.
