I own a supercharged VX Calais V6. It featured in this month’s street commodores and won the home brewed section. I was just wondering if you sponsored cars at all?
Congratulations on winning the home brewed section. We normally do not offer sponsorships. However we can hear out your proposal and then decide. If you also have some nice pictures of your car tha...

I purchased a 70mm throttle body from Mace around November 2008 for my VP 5.0L Commodore. Since the install back in 2008, I have noticed that the gear changes have all changed and the car will not drop back easily into lower gears when floored.I have howe
The restrictor is only suitable for our ecotec/L67 throttle bodies installed in VT-VY Commodores.

I Purchased the high ratio rockers for an ecotec a while back, just wondering whats the best torque to tighten them too?
Assuming you've received socket headed cap bolts (which require an Allen key), then they need to be torqued up to 23ft/lb.

I purchased the VZ SV6 cold air intake and the air intake insulator but I'm just enquiring about the cam. As it says with the cam and a tune you gain up to 30rwk I'm confused if you gain 30rwk with just only the cam and the tune or does that mean with oth
That gain would be in conjunction with the tune.

I recently flushed my radiator out and all that jazz and fitted a tridon high flow thermostat into it. It's supposed to give 30% more coolant flow. And I am just curious to know as to what is the difference between your 82 degree thermostat and my one (ob
Correct the main difference is that our 82 degree thermostat will open 10 degrees earlier which helps to prevent damaging overheating and improves power consistency. Yes we can customise the PCM to...

Unfortunately, the cam part number/serial number is not ours. Therefore, unless you have a cam card, your best bet would be to get the cam inspected on a cam doctor machine to determine what the ch...

I recently purchased a 12mm plenum spacer for an 02 vu commodore ute 5 speed. After fitting my ute started up very rough and after a few seconds it started to smooth out but idle like it was slightly cammed but wasn't idling rough just sound. Drove it and
Given what you're describing and the changes you've made, it could be normal. However to be certain, assuming that you've installed the plenum spacer as shown in the link below, then you may have a...

I recently purchased the 82 Degree thermostat for my VT Commodore, after installing the new thermostat I noticed that the car started to reach high temps (105 Degrees C) very quickly when stationary, at which point the AC fans kick in and the temp drops t
The thermostat keeps the overall engine temperature of the vehicle lower (82 degrees) compared to the standard thermostat. This increases performance due to a lower engine operating temperature. Th...

I require a VP V6 memcal to suit my centrifugal supercharger, being a power dyne in this case.Would the memcal that is provided with the raptor kit be spot on for this. Both setups are centrifugal, and configured the same? Please advice?
We wouldn't have anything to suit unfortunately, and would highly recommend a custom tune to suit given you're running boost. The only thing that they have in common is that they're both centrifugal...

I researched around but I cant seem to find a review on SS inductions growler kit for my VT which Mace does.
This family of products has been in service for over 5 years, as a result, there are a number of reviews about them, some of which are shown in the links below: http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...
