2. Ecotec Bolt-On Package

We recommend the following parts for customers who would like to get the most out of their Ecotec V6 with bolt-ons only, in the following order.

1. 1.9/1.98 high-ratio rockers
2. 25MM Manifold insulator VS - VT  VX – VY
3. 12MM Plenum Spacer
4. Cold air intake
5. 69mm throttle body (95-02, 02-04)
6. 82-degree thermostat
7. Recalibrated computer/memcal (greater results attainable in conjunction with 98 octane fuel)

This combo of performance parts will produce a power increase of up to 30rwkw (more if accompanied by a free-flowing exhaust) while most of the products come with simple step-by-step instructions such that they can be fitted by even the common DIY enthusiast. NOTE: Extractors are not essential at this stage of modification as we believe that for the price of extractors, a 'shift-kit' or a higher ratio LSD will produce a greater increase in overall vehicle performance.
