Fitting a stroker kit will require a full bottom end (short block) and top end rebuild. We recommend that the engine is stripped down and the bores are measured before ordering so that we send our the correct size oversize pistons to suit.
The Holden V6 engines are generally fairly gentle on the bores and we find that most rebuilds will be fine with .020"-.030" oversize pistons. The stroker kit contains all the main parts of the rotating assembly pistons, rings, rods, crank and bearing to suit, however you would also need to supply gaskets to complete the short end rebuild along with cam bearings. We recommend that you talk to your engine builder/workshop and discuss your requirements, in particular the machining requirements.
