To give you an idea as to some possible causes, in no specific order, please refer to the list below. *Spun bearing *Low oil pressure *Low engine oil viscosity used *Insufficient lifter crush *Exhaust leak *General engine noise being transmitted via extractors. Please note that it's not uncommon to find that extractors magnify valve train noise, which is made worse when stiffer valve springs are used.
